Rite Half Hitch Mag Bobbin with
Adjustable Thread Tension
Revolutionary new fly tying bobbin that allows half
hitch and whip finish knots right on the barrel of the
bobbin.
A key factor in producing a quality fly is control of
the thread spool. Too much tension and the results is
thread breakage. Too little tension and your tying
materials will not stay in place on the hook. A good
fly tying bobbin will allow precisely controlled
tension of the thread spool. Barrel tips have
to be smooth and free from burrs or rough edges.
Bobbins that are not smooth will damage the thread.
Bobbins with ceramic barrels or barrel tips are the
smoothest and will outlast steel or brass.
